Talking TRMarketplace: Phil Rose, Business Development Manager, RHA

By Luke Barras-hill |

Phil Rose, Business Development Manager, RHA discusses how TRMarketplace can help to leverage RHA’s digital growth.

Glasgow-based RHA has told TRBusiness during a Talking TRMarketplace interview that travel retail continues to remain an important focus.

“That has not really changed even with the downturn in people travelling,” commented Philip Rose, Business Development Manager – Global Travel Retail, RHA.

“Travel retail has obviously slowed, but we think that the desire and need for people to travel won’t go away. We’ve had great success in building presence in certain markets, but there are so many opportunities out there and we recognise there is still work to do.”

RHA designs and engineers personal audio products and concentrates particularly on portable and durable wireless headphones and accessories owing to advances in Bluetooth technology.

WIRELESS FLIGHT ADAPTER

At TRMarketplace, the audio technology firm plans to place particular emphasis on its Wireless Flight Adapter and wireless earphones.

“Aside the Wireless Flight Adapter being an amazing accessory in itself, it also supports in-cabin hygiene as there is no need for the passenger to use or borrow the headsets that the airline hands out,” said Rose.

With that in mind, the company plans to utilise TRMarketplace to build partnerships and introduce clients to its latest product releases.

“Without TFWA Cannes in the diary now, we were very happy to hear about TRMarketplace,” commented Rose.

“Essentially we are looking to try to do as much as we can at a regular exhibition; it was a relatively straight-forward decision in terms of exhibiting [at TRMarketplace].

“We’re really looking forward to utilising all of the functions of TRMarketplace to cement those existing relationships and scale up potential new partnerships,” continued Rose.

TRMarketplace is available for all categories and allows each supplier/brand access to a dedicated ‘brand hub’.

Registration is open to DF&TR retailers, airports, cruise lines, border stores and airlines, who will gain free-of-charge access to TRMarketplace.
