Semper idem Underberg GmbH can reveal that it now has a distribution agreement with Southern Comfort for select markets.

Southern Comfort was created in New Orleans in 1874 by the bartender Martin Wilkes Heron at McCauley’s Tavern and is a liqueur with alcohol content of 35% ABV, refined with whiskey.

“The unique taste of Southern Comfort derives from whiskey and different first-class flavours of fruits and spices,” says the German drinks company.

“Flavours from orange, peach, cinnamon, vanilla and dark chocolate are responsible for the unique taste.”
