Vergani joins Kreol Travel Retail confectionery portfolio

Speciality Italian confectionery company founded in 1881, Vergani, has appointed Kreol Travel Retail to distribute its products to the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and select Middle East countries (travel retail only).
Vergani currently has a presence in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, UK, Sweden, Holland, Portugal, Greece, United States, Canada, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia among others. It was acquired by Lameri Cereals, a leading manufacturer of cereals and corn flakes, in September 2006.
The product range consists of torrone (nougat pralines and bars), mostarda (spicy fruit chutneys), chocolate pralines, chocolate eggs & marrons glacés.
Additionally, as a producer, Vergani also supplies semi-finished products, such as crushed nougat for ice cream.

Headquartered in Dubai, Kreol TR already manages numerous confectionery brands, including Italian chocolate & dragee brand Confetti Crispo, leading Turkish chocolate manufacturing giant Sölen, Chiko eclairs/caramels/toffees/fruit chews/polish fudge from Oman and Duc d’O chocolate truffles from Belgium.
