Brazilian airlines’ traffic growth

The demand for international air transport passengers on Brazilian airlines grew by 3.07% in September 2013 compared with the same month in 2012 . The international supply increased by 5.08% over the same period.
The international demand and supply of Brazilian airlines reached their highest level since 2000, with growth for eleven consecutive months.
International traffic demand for TAM and GOL Group increased by 1.26% and nearly 19% , respectively in September 2013 compared to September 2012.
From January to September this year, total international demand grew 4.28%.
TAM and GOL represented total market share of Brazilian airlines in international air transportation of passengers in September 2013 , with 88.15% and 11.85 %, respectively.
The utilisation rate of passenger flights operated by Brazilian companies (RPK/ASK) reached 81.21% in September 2013 from 82.80% in the same month last year, registering a decline of 1.92%.
