Craig Duncan leaves WDFG and travel retail

Craig Duncan, VP of Commercial Operations for World Duty Free Group at Vancouver Airport is leaving his position to pursue ‘another opportunity outside of the duty free industry’.

In an announcement made by the Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) it was revealed that Duncan, with over 20 years of luxury, entertainment and travel retail experience, would be leaving the global travel retail company, but it was not clear if a replacement had yet been found.

“On behalf of the FDFA, I would like to take this opportunity to announce that Craig Duncan, VP of Commercial Operations for World Duty Free Group in Vancouver (Vancouver airport) has been presented another opportunity outside of the duty free industry and will be leaving World Duty Free Group,” said the FDFA.

“Many of us within the Canadian industry have known Craig for many years, and I know that I speak for many when I say that Craig will certainly be missed. A replacement or update on World Duty Free’s organizational structure has not at this time been communicated. We wish Craig all the best in his future endeavours.”
