DistellMultinational drinks firm Distell has added Deanston Highland Single Malt to its US travel retail portfolio.

Its introduction at the Duty Free Summit of the Americas later this month will mark Deanston’s first foray into duty free.

Four expressions of Deanston will be on show for US buyers at the show including Deanston Virgin Oak, Deanston 15 Year Old and Deanston 18 Year Old.

LIMITED VOLUMES

Due to the fluid’s limited quantities, it will only be available in US travel retail for the time being.

Tony Suarez, Regional Business Manager, Distell Global Travel Retail in the Americas said: “There is a real thirst for aged whiskies in the world right now and it is particularly keen in travel retail.

“Today’s international travellers are knowledgeable and demanding of authentic premium products and we feel Deanston’s Highland Single Malts will prove to be very popular with fine spirit aficionados travelling internationally in the United States.”

Luke Maga, Distell’s Manager Director for Travel Retail added that Deanston’s place within the Distell US portfolio is a sign of the company’s commitment to expanding its reach in duty free.

“Distell has a tremendous and growing reputation throughout travel retail for producing and marketing some of the world’s finest wines and spirits. The addition of a single malt of the calibre of Deanston only burnishes that reputation further.”

Deanston and Distell’s travel retail portfolio can be found at the Alexander James stand during the Duty Free Summit of the Americas (#813)
