Lima Airport’s ‘Mini’ campaign puts passengers in fast-lane
By Luke Barras-hill |
Lima Airport Partners (LAP) is offering passengers at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru the chance to win a new Mini Cooper car in a new prize-draw promotion.
Executed in July, the ‘Take a Mini with your purchases’ campaign is one of the operator’s ‘strongest’ of the year, according to LAP’s Fernando Delgado.
Travellers spending a certain level in select shopping outlets qualify for the prize draw, in which they can be in with the chance to win a brand new Mini Cooper 3DR Pepper.
TERMINAL EXPANSION
As reported, LAP is set to begin work on its $1.5bn terminal expansion following a decision taken by the Peruvian government to transfer ownership of the required land for the development.
The concession, which it has held since 2001, expires in 2041.
LAP’s shareholders include Fraport AG with a majority stake of 70.01%, International Financial Corporation with 19.99%, and AC Capitales SAFI S.A. of Peru with 10.00%.
