Perfetti hones 360-degree visibility for Americas show
By Luke Barras-hill |
Perfetti Van Melle (PVM) arrives at this year’s Summit of the Americas with a series of ‘must-have’ products and a new merchandise display.
The suitcase-shaped display prototype (80cm x 80cm), which can stock new and best-selling items, is designed to generate exposure from all angles of a store.
It is also designed to address the frequent challenges of limited retail space.
PVM intends to gather feedback on the new display at the show with a view to creating a final model.
NEW SKUS
“Besides the suitcase display, we also have the possibility to develop bespoke displays that will meet all the specifications given to us by our business partners,” said Femke Van Veen, GTR Marketing Manager, PVM.
PVM have already devised a Dhow boat display for Muscat New Airport and a portable carousel display for several stores at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
Aside the merchandising unit, PVM will showcase new products such as the Mentos Connecting Tin (275g).
Adorned with multilingual greetings and landmarks, it doubles as an educational tool for younger consumers.
The Mentos tin pairs with a Mentos-themed selfie wall at PVM’s stand, which features a map of the world with detachable speech bubbles.
Visitors can stand in front of the map holding one of the speech bubbles and take a photograph or leave one behind on the wall frame.
Another concept, Chupa Chups ‘Do You Love Me?’ Uses popular ‘emoticons’ on product packaging and lollipops to create higher brand awareness.
The range includes a hand-held resealable bag containing 25 fruit flavour Cupa Chups lollipops.
Every 3D lollipop will ask the question: ‘Do You Love Me?’ Via the use of the emoticons printed on the lollipops.
PVM can be found exhibiting at Cypress Ballroom 1223
