Luke Gorringe served as Delhi Duty Free Services CEO between May 2016 and June 2018.

Aer Rianta International General Manager/Country CEO for Jakarta Luke Gorringe is to leave the company at the end of July for personal reasons.

Gorringe, who was Director of Retail Operations for Dufry-owned The Nuance Group between 2007 and 2011, served as Delhi Duty Free Services CEO from May 2016 to June 2018. He was then seconded to Indonesia.

He said: “After just over three years with ARI, it’s time to take my career in a new direction. I have many fond memories and am proud of the friends and contacts I have made along the way, particularly during my tenure as CEO at Delhi Duty Free.

HUMBLING EXPERIENCE

“It was a monumental effort to turn that business around and the experience was humbling. However, moving from one country to the next in short stints with a young family was no longer desirable and a change with stability was needed.

“I am sure I will catch up with many of you again in the future and hope I am able to put my skills and experience to good use, internationally, within travel retail.”

Luke can be contacted at [email protected].
