Active natural skincare brand, Origins, recently celebrated the upgrading of its formula for hero product, Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins TM Mega Mushroom Soothing Treatment Lotion, with an interactive ‘Journey of Joy and Renewal’ campaign in Haikou, Hainan.
Origins unveiled an exclusive pop-up at China Duty Free’s Haikou Duty Free Shop in downtown Haikou, featuring interactive zones inspired by the natural ingredients of Mega Mushroom Soothing Treatment Lotion.
To join in on the celebration, Origins invited press and KOLs to experience the pop-up and to ‘explore the efficacies of the high performing ingredients’ said the brand.
‘TRIGGERING REAL, MEANINGFUL CHANGE’
In tandem with the launch, Origins reinforces its commitments to helping restore ecosystems, ‘one tree at a time’ and supporting the work of environmental ecosystems justice organisations around the world ‘to trigger real, meaningful change for the lives of the present and generations to come’, it said.
With its partners, Origins Green the Planet has planted and cared for a total of 2.12 million trees since 2009, in projects spanning Asia, Europe and North America; the equivalent of more than 175,000 trees per year , 480 trees per day and 20 trees per hour.
In line with this mission, the Origins Travel Retail team has pledged to plant and care for 75,000 trees in Asian nature reserves, covering eight native species and other non-timber forest products. The entire project will replant a total of 120 hectares of native trees species within the ecological rehabilitation zone in Asia which Origins is proud to support.
“Origins Travel Retail is proud to be able to support our brand’s ongoing mission to help restore ecosystems and support environmental justice,” said Michael Marcano, Vice President/General Manager, Origins, Travel Retail Worldwide, The Estée Lauder Companies.
“With each tree we plant we take one more step forward in our fight against climate change and a better, more equitable future for all.”
