Victoria’s Secret has expanded its network of travel retail stores once more with a new shop at Glasgow Airport which opens on 11th May. The 68sqm Accessories and Beauty store will be situated in the departure lounge as part of the airport’s shopping and dining rejuvenation project for summer 2015.
LS Travel Retail, which recently won the new contract to operate the DF&TR flagship store at London Luton Airport, says it is ‘proud’ to open the first VS store in Scotland.
With a focus on a ‘fashion-forward range of beauty products and accessories designed for the modern jet-setter’, shoppers will find fragrances like the FiFi Award-winning Victoria’s Secret Bombshell; just-launched collections like the new Love Me fragrance and the VS Fantasies. ‘Travel-ready’ items such as signature lip glosses and body-care products will also be available.
The Glasgow store will carry branded cosmetic cases and fashion bags to complement the P&C contingent as well as passport holders, phone wallets, travel adaptors and headphones.
To top off the portfolio, scarves, sunglasses and underwear will be on offer.
For those that wish to collect on return, the airport offers a free shop and collect service that is available to all passengers flying within the EU. More information on this service is available in store.
Fin Casey, Managing Director of LS Travel Retail UK & Ireland commented: “It’s fantastic news to be extending our relationship with Glasgow Airport and Victoria’s Secret. We are proud to open the first Victoria’s Secret store in Scotland”.
Francois Bourienne, Commercial Director at Glasgow Airport said: “We are excited to welcome Victoria’s Secret to Glasgow Airport as the beauty and accessories concept has been widely successful throughout the world. We’re looking forward to being able to help introduce it to Glaswegians and visitors alike.”
In March, Glasgow Airport reported its 25th consecutive month of growth when more than 606,000 people travelled through the airport during the month, representing an increase of 14% on the same period last year.
