Hamleys takes prime spot at Stansted Airport

By Kevin Rozario |

London’s world famous toy store, Hamleys, has secured a prime position in Stansted Airport’s departure lounge with the opening set for 11 September.

The global toy retailer will now have an extended range of over 1,000 products that includes a dedicated Lego area. Hamleys’ move is part of an £80m ($133m) terminal re-development at STN, owned by Manchester Airport Group.

Beth Brewster (left), MAG’s Retail Director comments: “MAG has a clear vision to transform Stansted Airport. Hamleys will join the very exciting list of global brands and exciting new concepts getting involved.”

Ralph Cunningham Retail & Brand Director at Hamleys adds: “Our new larger toy shop gives us the opportunity to widen the range of goods on offer providing an even greater choice of toys.”
