Taiwanese DF & TR operator Tasa Meng reports that it is promoting Christian Dior’s new eau de parfum, Miss Dior, in a pop-up concept at its Terminal 2 North wing duty free shop at Taiwan Tao-Yuan International Airport, this month.
“There is a global trend for international duty free operators to work closely with reputable partners to help promote strong brands, like Dior, and their products,” says Tasa Meng Duty Free Shop General Manager, Gary Chau.
“Last month [August], we did a pop-up concept for Dior focusing on Dior colour, which performed better than expected.”
This month, Christian Dior’s pop-up concept focus at Tasa Meng is on its fragrance, Miss Dior.
“Miss Dior is an ode to love,” says the brand. “Potent, lively and incisive, the new Miss Dior eau de parfum is reinvented in a hand-crafted and sensual flora, with love, for love.”
Adding his comments, Dior perfumer-creator Francois Demachy said: “From the moment it was created, Miss Dior was the fragrance of love, and a burst of life. This perfume was meant to embody the ideal of what a perfume should be: suggestive, mesmerizing, and sensual.”
Tasa Meng’s partnership with Christian Dior management dates back 17 years and both companies work hard to ‘ensure that staff get the best product and customer service training, so consumers are received as if they had visited a Dior boutique’, adds Chau.
“The Christian Dior travel retail team is happy with our professional merchandising team, beauty advisors and the proper execution of their promotions,” he concluded.
