Trinity is postponed & rescheduled

By Doug Newhouse |

ACI World, ACI Asia-Pacific and The Moodie Report confirmed today that next month’s Bangkok Trinity Forum 2014 has been postponed and moved to September.

Yesterday’s decision by the Thai Government to declare a 60-day state of emergency was the final trigger for the organisers, who have now postponed the event until 17-19 September 2014 [it was originally scheduled for 26-28 February-Ed].

In a joint statement this morning, the three conference partners said: “The three co-organisers of the event have been closely monitoring the fast-changing political situation in Bangkok. Circumstances have worsened sharply in recent weeks, culminating in Thailand’s government declaring a 60-day state of emergency on 21 January.

SAFETY HAS TO BE THE TOP PRIORITY….

“Our top priority is the safety of all attendees, which, under the present circumstances could be compromised.”

The three organisers say they are hopeful that the political situation will have stabilised by September of this year and as long as this is the case, then The Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel will continue to be the venue.

Both the King Power Group of Companies and Airports of Thailand have also confirmed that they remain committed to retaining all prior commitments for the event at the later dates in September.

Delegates can obtain a refund of their registration fee through ACI Asia-Pacific, or alternatively opt to have their registration transferred to the new September event. Delegates can also obtain a full refund by contacting the Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel at telephone number: (66) 26809999; fax: (66) 2/6809998, or by email: [email protected]
