Zóldi Jewels founder Maria Soldatova is targeting GTR expansion

Dubai-based Zóldi Jewels is building on a partnership with EmiratesRED to expand its travel retail and duty free presence to target other listings in the channel.

Founded in 2019 by former Emirates flight attendant Maria Soldatova, Zóldi Jewels is a fashion jewellery brand inspired by travel. 

Each piece is designed to evoke a sense of wanderlust, adventure and nostalgia. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings are created with gifting in mind. 

“I have a deep passion for travel and a strong connection to the world of aviation,” said founder and CEO Soldatova.

“I created Zóldi Jewels after first-hand experience of interacting with passengers from diverse backgrounds and cultures. 

I am excited to be expanding into travel retail as Zóldi Jewels embarks on this next stage of growth.”

Zóldi Jewels: travel-inspired gifting

Travel retail best-sellers include the Ready for Departure bracelet and Up in the Sky necklace. The Take Me Away ring and My Private Jets earrings are also proving popular. 

“The focus on travel retail allows me to showcase the unique qualities of our jewellery and introduce travellers to a brand that resonates with their own experiences,” Soldatova continued.

“My time with Emirates helped me create pieces that evoke a personal connection; it’s why I am delighted to be included in the EmiratesRED store and Crew Shop at Emirates Dubai HQ. 

“It has given me an opportunity to work closely with the company’s inflight retail buyers to cultivate a promising future relationship.” 

Zóldi Jewels has a strong sustainability focus. All packaging is recyclable, making use of FSC-certified paper and soy-based inks. 

In addition, the brand donates to charities with every purchase. Its two partners are One Tree Planted and UK-based Redwings Horse Sanctuary.

EmiratesRED was described as an ‘industry-first’ shopping channel when it launched by the airline back in 2019.
