Watch supplier Time Products UK is using its presence at TFWA World Exhibition this week to showcase new products from its Sekonda and Accurist brands.

On display until 5 October at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes are six new Sekonda collections as well as two Accurist designs.

Sekonda centres around style, quality and “realistic” pricing for fashion watches, while Accurist is known for its accessible luxury positioning.

For 2024 both brands have expanded lines for their travel retail partners.

Sekonda Smart: bestselling and new designs

The Sekonda Women’s collections for the coming year include the now TikTok infamous Monica, complete with a gift set option.

In addition, Maxima captures travel moments, and the Dive range and Sparkle collection have new models.

Sekonda Men’s collections include the new Armstrong Moon Phase range, plus the bestselling Velocity and Taylor designs.

The Sekonda Alpine GPS Smart Watch features a range of new features and has been designed for running, walking, cycling, football, climbing, yoga and more.

The design offers a 1.3” round, fully interactive HD touchscreen display. Tracking options include steps, distance, calories, sleep and heart rate.

Meanwhile the third-generation smartwatch in the Sekonda Connect range offers GPS, bluetooth calling, and measurements including blood pressure and oxygen.

With its 1.1” round, fully interactive touch screen display, it is said to make the “perfect” addition to the brand’s travel retail range.

The Sekonda Armstrong Moon Phase men’s watch offers an ion-plated silver alloy case and silver-white dial.

It offers a moon phase sub-dial which tracks the moon, alongside day and date displays.

The watch is waterproof down to 50 metres, and is fastened with an interchangeable brown, croc-grain leather strap.

Also on-stand in Cannes is a recently updated Sekonda ladies gift set. It includes the Monica watch with an octagonal two-tone, ion-plated silver and gold alloy case and a white dial.

For the set, it has been paired with a gold-plated copper bangle and a silver stainless steel rope bracelet.

Time Products UK: New Accurist lines

On stand in Cannes is the new Accurist travel retail range, which spans eight collections.

Highlights include Accurist Origin Automatic Men’s Watch, inspired by the original 1970s best-selling model.

A skeleton dial shows the inner automatic movement in detail, with the piece protected by ultra-scratch resistant crystal glass on the front and case back.

Accurist Dress Ladies watch offers elegance through the use of diamonds as hour markers. Other details include semi-precious materials, a Mother of Pearl dial, and a round, solid stainless steel case.

Presented with ultra-scratch resistant curved double-sapphire crystal glass, the watch carries an extended five-year warranty.

“Accurist and Sekonda are well positioned in the premium and fashion watch segments of the global travel retail market and we plan to expand our ranges as our travel retail business returns to pre pandemic levels,” said Alison Forrestal, CEO for Time Products (UK).

“We are delighted to see increasing numbers of travellers returning to shopping our brands in airports and with our airline partners, so prospects are good as we see more of our  partners seeking multiple price points for greater numbers of discerning travellers.”

Earlier this summer, Time Products (UK) looked to London’s Stansted Airport for its first video advertising campaign for Sekonda.
